Who we are

Three thousand engineers,
across every sector

Engineers Forum Qatar is a prominent professional organisation representing more than 3,000 Malayalee engineers living and working in Qatar, affiliated to the IBPC — Indian Business and Professional Council — under the Embassy of India, Qatar. It brings together engineering professionals, business owners, entrepreneurs, senior executives, industry specialists and decision-makers from across Qatar’s major economic sectors.

Membership

Who can join, and how

Membership is open to anyone who believes in the Association's aim and purpose, is willing to foster and promote those objectives, and meets all three criteria below.

  • Of Kerala origin

    An Indian national of Kerala origin. The forum exists for engineers from Kerala who work in Qatar.

  • Resident in Qatar

    Residing in Qatar on a valid resident permit at the time you apply.

  • A qualified engineer

    Holding an engineering degree certificate issued by any university, in India or abroad.

How to apply

  1. Check you qualify

    All three criteria above, not one or two of them.

  2. Fill in the application

    Your employer and discipline, your qualification and alumni group, and a contact number in Qatar.

  3. Name two members

    Two existing EF members with their membership numbers. The forum contacts them, not you.

  4. Add your documents

    Your Qatar ID and degree certificate, uploaded with your application and seen only by the committee.
